An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy. Working across both public and private sector projects, you'll play a key role in delivering complex schemes while helping to strengthen and grow client relationships.

This role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking to take the next step at Associate level, combining project delivery, commercial leadership and business development responsibilities.

The Role

You’ll lead cost management and contract administration services across a varied portfolio of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing high-value construction projects through all project stages.
  • Providing Cost Management, Employer's Agent and Contract Administration services.
  • Administering NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Managing budgets, cost reporting and change control.
  • Producing clear commercial reports and client updates.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Supporting business development and work-winning activities.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members.
About You
  • MRICS qualified.
  • Proven consultancy-based Cost Management / Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Strong Employer's Agent and Contract Administration background.
  • Sound knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience delivering complex projects and managing multiple priorities.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of developing client relationships.
  • A proactive individual who enjoys responsibility and autonomy.
