Freelance Animator

This role is focused on producing compelling animated visual content for storytelling, utilizing either low-poly 3D or bold 2D vector motion-graphics styles. The animator will be responsible for creating scenes that support voiceover narration, integrating motion-graphics overlays, titles, and map-style callouts to enhance narrative clarity. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of visual storytelling, be adept at translating complex ideas into engaging animations, and demonstrate versatility in both 3D and 2D workflows.

The project requires a creative professional who can deliver high-quality, visually appealing content that aligns with specific stylistic references and project objectives.

• Develop and animate low-poly 3D scenes with motion-graphics overlays, titles, and map-style callouts
• Create alternative 2D vector motion-graphics animations with bold color palettes, crisp shapes, and smooth transitions
• Integrate effective typography and visual cues to support voiceover narration
• Collaborate on storyboarding and visual concepts to ensure alignment with project goals
• Deliver final animated videos in required formats, optimized for clarity and engagement

• Proven experience in 2D and 3D animation for storytelling or explainer content
• Proficiency with Blender, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and/or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both low-poly 3D and vector-based 2D animation styles
• Ability to design and animate motion-graphics overlays, titles, and map-style callouts
• Excellent sense of timing, composition, and visual narrative
• Skilled in typography and color theory for animation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
• Effective communication skills and ability to interpret creative briefs
• Availability for a single project engagement
