Art Dept Trainee for High End TV Drama (A BAD WOLF production)
Based in Wolf Studios Wales
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic international production company producing television drama at the very highest level.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a motivated individual to work in the Art Dept department on a High-End TV production. This is an office based role. No prior industry experience is needed-just a passion for design, a creative mindset, and a willingness to learn.
Role includes:
- Assisting the Art Dept with research and look books.
- Assisting in surveying locations and drawing these findings up.
- Using Sketch Up to draw elements of sets.
- Finding and research references to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
- Preparing artwork for printing and working with different materials.
- Keeping files and designs organised to help with workflow.
- Running errands for the Art Department.
Skills required
:
- Interest in architecture and architectural styles.
- Some experience using 3D modelling software, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign (even if it’s self-taught) and technical drawing.
- A creative mindset and ability to adapt to different styles.
- A keen eye for design, layout and composition.
- A hands‑on approach and willingness to learn new skills.
- Good organisation and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Access to own car and driving license is desirable
