Audio Always is an independent production company making content across radio, podcasts and beyond. Millions of people hear, see and feel our shows every week, including across the BBC’s national networks. This role sits right at the centre of that — leading the editorial and creative delivery of content across BBC Radio 1, 1
Xtra and the Asian Network. If you want to make a real impact on some of the UK’s biggest radio stations, this is the job.
As Executive Producer, you’ll own the editorial, creative and technical delivery of live and pre-recorded content across three of the BBC’s most-loved networks. You’ll lead and develop your team, manage relationships with on-air talent, and play a central role in shaping what Audio Always makes next.
You’ll be based in either Manchester or Birmingham, but this role spans both cities — you’ll spend time across our teams and shows in each location, so flexibility to work between the two is essential.

- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to handle multiple priorities at pace.
- A creative thinker who's always looking for the next great idea.
- Flexibility to work across our Salford and Birmingham bases.
