Service Advisor

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Cardiff, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent Service Advisor opportunity for a professional with a strong customer service background to progress within a well-established and expanding dealership group.

Benefits:

Basic salary between £28,800 and £32,500 per annum, dependent on experience
OTE (including rota’d Saturday mornings) between £34,000 and £38,000 per annum, subject to labour targets
25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

Duties of a Service Advisor:

Manage workload allocation and meet customer deadlines efficiently
Greet customers professionally in the Service Department and handle customer inquiries
Liaise extensively with the workshop to monitor work-in-progress and provide timely updates to customers
Upsell additional products and services where appropriate to maximise customer satisfaction and dealership profitability
Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times, delivering a positive experience
Maintain accurate records and utilise IT systems, preferably Kerridge or ADP, for efficient operation
Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold dealer standards

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding customer service
IT literacy, with experience in Kerridge/ADP preferred
A full UK driving licence with minimal points
Professional attitude and a customer-focused approach
