Position: HOMELESS ASSESSMENT CO-ORDINATOR

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to lead the busy frontline Homeless Assessment Team.

The Housing Options Service is a busy and challenging service which provides advice and assistance under the Council’s corporate duty to help clients who are homeless. This is a fast moving and demanding service.

About the job

The demands on the service and the priorities for the team are ever changing throughout any given day and the post holder will need to have the skills to respond to service requests, manage change and problem solve. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that service objectives, targets and quality standards are met whilst meeting high levels of customer service.

What We Are Looking For From You

Experience of management in a housing related environment will be an advantage. The post holder will have a sound knowledge of housing and homeless legislation, policy and practice, and also have experience of developing processes and procedures. The post holder will also have the skills to develop and progress partnership working, and to build on any existing relationships.
