Service Advisor

Our client, a reputable three-site automotive repair business based in Cardiff, is expanding and seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Advisor to join their team.

Duties of a Service Advisor:

Manage workload and customer deadlines efficiently in a busy service department
Liaise closely with the workshop team to chase work in progress
Keep customers informed throughout the service and repair process
Upsell additional products and services to maximise workshop efficiency
Deliver high levels of customer service to ensure complete customer satisfaction
Allocate tasks effectively among team members and prioritize customer needs
Maintain accurate documentation and utilise IT systems (experience with Kerridge preferable but not essential)
Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and colleagues

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
IT literacy, with familiarity with dealership management systems (Kerridge experience preferred but not mandatory)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional attitude with a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience
