Parking Attendant, Temporary Seasonal ; Radyr

We currently have an opportunity for a Parking Attendant at our site in Radyr.

Salary: up to £12.71 per hour depending on age and experience

Location:

Pugh's Garden Centre Radyr, Cardiff, CF15 8LB

Job Type: 1 x 16hours temporary seasonal contract. 10 hours per week over 7 days to include every Saturday and Sunday. Shifts are between the hours of 11am and 4pm.

The role will be subject to references.

Full training will be provided. Must be aged 18 or over.

As a Parking Attendant your role will involve;

• Undertaking regular patrols of the car park.
• Customer service assisting with queries/complaints
• General onsite cleaning
• General onsite admin
• Overseeing the use of car parking facilities
• Ensuring security and maintenance of the parking area
• Directing users to available parking spaces
• Monitoring the area to prevent theft or vandalism
• Providing customer service to patrons.

The ideal candidate will display;

• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Good numerical skills
• Good technical experience and ability to use smart phones and / or PDA’s
• The ability to deal with conflict whilst remaining calm and polite at all times
• The ability to work under their own initiative and self-motivate
