Location:
Cardiff
Salary: £27,000-£31,000
An award-winning architectural practice is seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its growing Cardiff studio. The role:
* Assisting with the development of projects across a range of RIBA work stages
* Producing design proposals, planning drawings, and presentation materials
* Preparing planning applications, Design & Access Statements, and supporting documentation
* Working closely with Architects, Technologists, and external consultants
* Developing technical drawing packages and construction information
* Attending project meetings and assisting with client liaison
* Supporting project delivery while ensuring design quality and compliance standards are maintained
* Contributing creative ideas and innovative design solutions throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant role:
* RIBA Part 2 qualification in Architecture
* Experience working within a UK architectural practice
* Strong design and presentation skills with a creative portfolio
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch Up is advantageous
* Good understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to progress towards professional qualification
