Apply for the Consultant Breast Radiologist role at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, based within the Breast Centre at University Hospital Llandough and Breast Test Wales.

• Provide specialist breast radiology services, including mammography reporting, breast and axillary ultrasound, image‑guided biopsy and MRI reporting.
• Conduct symptomatic and screening breast assessment clinics and actively participate in the breast multidisciplinary team (MDT).
• Teach medical students, radiology and surgical specialist registrars and support the training of allied health professionals undertaking extended roles within breast services.
• Engage in flexible working arrangements and variable weekly timetable planned with workload meetings.

• Either on the Specialist Register or a Specialist Registrar with expected CCT within six months of interview.
• Competence in mammography, breast and axillary ultrasound, image‑guided biopsy, MRI reporting and experience in procedures such as vacuum‑assisted biopsy/excision, pre‑operative localisation techniques and stereotactic core biopsy desirable.
• Current or most recent employment as a substantive Consultant or Locum Consultant for more than 12 months must provide the name of their Medical Director as an additional referee.
• Names and contact details of referees covering at least the last three years of employment/training history required.

£110,240 to £160,951 per annum.
