Teaching Assistant

A friendly and caring school in the Cardiff area, who passionately care about the well-being of their staff and students, are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their friendly school team. The role would involve working as a general Classroom Assistant, as well as supporting with pupils on a One:

One basis, and they are ideally looking for someone who has ALN experience. The school set high standards for both pupils and adults and working as part of this team is a great opportunity.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have the following:

First-Aid experience and qualifications are welcome!

Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting Additional Learning Needs (ALN) students.
A Level 3 or above NVQ or CACHE Qualification (preferred but not essential).
ELSA or Thrive Experience (preferred but not essential).
A caring and empathetic nature.
