As a Welsh Speaking Unqualified Teacher, you will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with pre-prepared work.
• Deliver set lessons and maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Support students with additional learning needs where required.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with school policies.
• Ensure the classroom remains organised and safe.
• Report any incidents or challenges to school staff or department heads.

• Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Adaptability to work in various school settings.
• A positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people.
• Awareness of safeguarding and the importance of maintaining a safe learning environment.

• A passion for education and commitment to supporting pupils with diverse needs.
• Transferable communication or leadership skills (e.g., from coaching, mentoring, or youth work).
• Willingness to complete required training.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided).
• EWC registration (guidance available).
• Two recent references.
• Ability to commute to schools in the Cardiff area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
