Reception teaching assistant

.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive Early Years team, helping to create a fun and nurturing environment where every child feels valued, inspired, and excited to learn.

• Supporting children in a Reception classroom (ages 4-5) with day-to-day learning activities and routines
• Assisting the class teacher with phonics, numeracy, creative play, and small group work
• Encouraging positive behaviour and building children's confidence and social skills
• Helping to set up engaging learning areas both inside and outdoors
• Supporting children with varying abilities and needs to ensure everyone can thrive
• Contributing to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes this school so special

• Experience working with young children (in a school, nursery, or similar setting)
• A genuine passion for early childhood education
• The ability to engage children through play, imagination, and positive reinforcement
• Flexibility, patience, and a can-do attitude
• A reliable and friendly team player who enjoys being part of a collaborative school community

(A Level 2/3 TA qualification or equivalent experience would be desirable.)
