Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school in Llanishen to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) from mid‑January.

This role involves supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including autism and associated communication and sensory needs. The school offers a structured, nurturing environment and is supported by an experienced SEN team who value consistency, patience, and positive relationships.

The successful candidate will support pupils on a one‑to‑one and small‑group basis, helping them to access learning, develop communication skills, and build independence within the school setting.

• Experience supporting children with SEN/ALN, ideally within an SRB or specialist setting
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration, or willingness to register
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
