Position Details1 Full Time Permanent Specialist Resource Base Class Teacher Post.
The children, staff, and governors of Llanishen Fach wish to appoint a creative and innovative teacher to start spring/summer term 2026 on a permanent basis. The successful candidate must have experience of teaching in a specialist setting and understand the range of complex learning needs.
Responsibilities- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with knowledge and experience of working with children with Additional Learning Needs
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to establish excellent working relationships with children, parents, staff, and outside agencies
- Significantly contribute to the ethos and values of our school
- Have commitment, be highly motivated and be able to contribute to our dedicated and enthusiastic team
- Be adaptable, resourceful, and innovative
- Be able to work as part of a highly effective team
- Have excellent communication and IT skills

Candidates will be observed teaching a Literacy / English session of their choice as part of the interview process (the observation will be with a group of pupils from the specialist resource base).
Lesson observations and interview will take place on Monday 19th January 2026.
