Requirments:
Clear DBS for Children and Adults on the update service
Two years' experience working within School setting for SEND
support work.
Responsibilities:
* Providing emotional, behavioural and learning support tailored to individual SEND/SEMH needs either one-to-one or in small groups.
* Working closely with Senior SEND staff, SENCO, Parents/carers and external professionals to achieve positive learner outcomes.
Assisting learners build emotional, social, creative and personal skills through structured activities and projects.
* Assist in planning and delivering Adult NEET, SEND/SEMH personal development training including EOTAS and EHCP related support whilst maintaining an inclusive environment and upholding Safeguarding, GDPR, equality and Health & Safety responsibilities.
* Monitoring learner progress and engage in ongoing CPD to meet changing SEND needs, as well as demonstrating empathy, professionalism, teamwork, adaptability, strong communication and flexibility to meet organisational needs.
* This may include occassional evening and weekend work
