Learning Support Assistant

Due to increased demand, we are now seeking highly experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our dedicated team.

We operate 24/7 and have built strong, long-standing relationships with numerous SEND provisions across Cardiff and South Wales. We support pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD).

This role is best suited to candidates with extensive hands-on experience working in SEND schools, specialist provisions, PRUs, or alternative education settings.

The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant must have:

Extensive experience working within SEND settings
Proven experience supporting children with complex and multiple needs
Strong background in 1:1 and small group support
Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills
A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
Confidence working with challenging behaviour and high-needs pupils
