M&M Supply, a trusted education agency, is seeking Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN school in Cardiff, supporting pupils ages 11-16 with SEMH needs and severe autism.

About the Role:

Providing tailored support to children with additional learning needs.

Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.

Using strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other needs.

Encouraging social and emotional development to help students thrive.

Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to create personalised learning plans.

Requirements:

Experience working with children within Mainstream + SEN (preferred but not essential).

A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to learning support.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply).

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are desirable but not required.

Ability to use your intuition, and be flexible around the needs of the individual
