We are seeking a committed Secondary English Teacher who combines excellent behaviour management skills with creativity and a nurturing approach. You will collaborate with a forward-thinking team to deliver an innovative curriculum, uphold high expectations, and foster a lifelong love of learning among all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales framework.
Plan and assess effectively to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with additional learning requirements.
Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.
Uphold high standards and expectations for all pupils, promoting engagement and achievement.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
PGCE or PCET qualifications will also be considered.
Proven expertise in classroom and behaviour management.
Familiarity with the Curriculum for Wales and its requirements.
Strong understanding of planning and assessment processes.
Ability to confidently teach across a range of subjects and disciplines is desirable.
