KS2 Supply Teacher

Location: East Birmingham
Working Pattern: Flexible (day-to-day, short-term & long-term supply)
Pay: Paid weekly via PAYE through Teacher Active

Teacher Active are currently recruiting Supply Teachers to work across a range of Primary Schools in East Birmingham
. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexible work
, whether you’re looking for occasional days, consistent weekly bookings, or a better work-life balance.

The schools we work with are particularly looking for teachers who are confident working in Key Stage 2, including Year 5 and Year 6, and who can confidently step into the classroom to deliver pre-planned lessons
.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS2, including Year 5 and Year 6.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines.
• Provide brief feedback to schools at the end of the day.

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Are confident teaching KS2
  , particularly Year 5 & Year 6.
• Are flexible and happy to work across multiple schools in East Birmingham
  .
• Are reliable, adaptable, and confident managing behaviour.
• Are comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons
  .
• Are happy to work through Teacher Active and be paid via PAYE.

• A DBS certificate on the Update Service
  , or willingness to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through Teacher Active.
• Ability to provide two professional references from previous educational employers.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
