We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Cardiff, supporting schools with day-to-day and short-term cover requirements.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in education, graduates considering a teaching career, or experienced Cover Supervisors seeking flexible work.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain on task and classroom behaviour is managed in line with school policies.

• Supervise whole classes using pre-set lesson plans
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Ensure students stay engaged and complete assigned work
• Liaise with teaching staff and school leaders as required
• Support the wider school environment when needed

• Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching, etc.)
• Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
• A genuine interest in education
• Previous Cover Supervisor or school experience is desirable but not essential

• Competitive daily pay of £115 £ 140, depending on experience
