Are you a science teacher looking for immediate long‑term work? Do you want to feel valued by teaching staff and be situated within an excellent secondary school?
Academics is looking for a general science teacher for several secondary schools in Cardiff, starting 18 May 2026. These posts will run until July initially, but the schools are seeking a permanent teacher.
You will be expected to have a good knowledge of biology, chemistry and physics at KS3, and you will have opportunities to teach KS4 and KS5.

Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) in Science
- Valid DBS (can be produced through us)
- Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC, can be produced through us)
- Full driving licence and access to a car
- Living in or near Cardiff
