Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking an experienced and dedicated PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Cardiff. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on learners in Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful PE Teacher will be expected to hit the ground running and become an integral part of the PE team from day one.

This position is ideal for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic school environment and support students through their physical education journey.

• Lead a classroom of learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Prepare classrooms and plan schemes of work where required
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Incorporate both classroom and lab-based activities to motivate students
• Manage behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies

• At least 1 year of PE teaching experience (exceptions for NQTs)
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
• Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – support available
• References covering the last two years (no gaps)
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
