Pay:£93 per day

.

As a Trainee Learning Support Assistant, you’ll support students aged 11–18, many of whom have Additional Learning Needs (ALN) such as:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD
• Dyslexia
• Emotional and behavioural difficulties

Your role will involve:

• One-to-one and small group support
• Assisting with classroom learning
• Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour

• Previous experience in education, healthcare, social work, learning support, or youth work
• A passion for helping young people learn and grow
• Willingness to complete essential training (fully funded by us)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check (support provided)

• No experience required – full training provided!
• Free accredited online courses – safeguarding, SEN, and more
• Hands‑on school experience – trial placement in a local secondary school
• Dedicated consultant support – guiding you every step of the way

You’ll receive certified online training in:

• Introduction to Being a Teaching Assistant
• Level 2 Safeguarding & KCSIE
• Positive Behaviour Management

Plus optional advanced courses:

• Understanding Autism
• The Prevent Duty
• Thrive Approach for Emotional Well-being
• The Complete SEND Diploma

Further career progression available with:

• Team Teach Training
• Cover Supervisor Courses

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
