Teaching Personnel are seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work in a range of primary schools across Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You will provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, helping children overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. These roles offer flexibility, variety, and valuable experience within supportive school environments.

- Is committed to promoting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Has the confidence to provide 1:1 and small-group support, including for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Builds positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Works effectively as part of a wider school team.
- Is reliable, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education.
- Dedicated support from your own specialist consultant.

- Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – required for working in Wales.
- Willingness to complete safeguarding and child protection training.

- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
