Full-time, permanent

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm

As an Essential Skills Tutor, you will work closely with our learners to arrange, conduct, and invigilate controlled tasks for those undertaking their Essential Skills Qualification.

• Provide literacy, numeracy and digital literacy support to learners within workshop or one-to-one setting at Youth premises.
• Ensure learners achieve their Essential Skills qualifications timely.
• Plan and support learners in their individual learning journey.
• Support learners to achieve their qualifications to a quality standard in a timely fashion.

• Experience working with young people and/or a passion for making a difference.
• Engaging and inspirational training and delivery style.
• Willingness to work towards a CAVA qualification or 8375 practitioners Award Level 3 or equivalent.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle.
