About the RoleWe are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Further Education (FE) Lecturers to join our pool of flexible teaching staff across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced lecturers, industry professionals, and education specialists looking for flexible work within colleges, training providers, and adult learning environments. As a Flexible FE Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions, support learner achievement, and contribute to a positive learning experience across a range of vocational and academic subjects.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality teaching and learning sessions.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor attendance, engagement, and achievement.
- Maintain accurate learner records and documentation.
- Support learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and awarding body requirements.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams and support staff.

- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience delivering teaching, training, or learning programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare.
