We require an excellent and inspirational teacher to join our dedicated staff in the Autumn Term 2026, to teach in Lower KS2.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Set clear, ambitious targets based on pupils' prior attainment.
  • Provide a high quality, inclusive education for all learners.
  • Have a clear understanding of assessment for learning.
  • Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing all children with the opportunity to succeed through the delivery of an engaging curriculum.
  • Be sympathetic with our Christian ethos and able to live out our strong Christian vision through your work in school.
  • Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and data protection; have high expectations of behaviour and a commitment for excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Have strong inter-personal skills to establish positive relationships within the school community and be an excellent team player.
Qualifications
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage Two.
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and a passion for learning.
  • Have secure knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Have strong behaviour management skills, using a positive approach.
  • Are committed to inclusion and removing barriers to achievemen.
  • Highly effective in the planning, teaching and assessment of all lesson.
  • Able to maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parent.
  • Rigorous in ensuring all pupils make good progress.
  • The ability to join a team and contribute to whole school development.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding.
Desirable
  • A proven track record of raising standard.
  • The ability to lead a subject throughout the school.
  • Practising Christian.
