We are seeking a passionate and resilient Youth Support Worker to join our team from September 2026. This role involves working closely with young people who may have additional needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and behavioural needs.
Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment
- Encourage personal development, confidence, and resilience
- Experience working with young people (youth work, care, mentoring, coaching, or similar)
- Positive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
