Supply Hive Wales is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Sports Coaches to work within primary and secondary schools across Cardiff. Whether you're currently studying, recently graduated, or already working within sport and coaching, this is an excellent opportunity to use your skills in a rewarding school environment.

As a Sports Coach in schools, you will support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to promote positive behaviour, engagement, confidence, and wellbeing through your coaching experience.

The skills developed through sport naturally transition into education, including:

• Leadership and communication skills
• Building positive relationships with young people
• Behaviour management and conflict resolution
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Motivation and encouragement
• Adaptability and resilience
• Confidence working with groups of children and young people

• Supporting pupils throughout the school day
• Delivering sports, physical activities, and enrichment sessions
• Assisting teachers in the classroom
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Acting as a positive role model for young people

• Experience coaching children or young people
• A passion for supporting and inspiring others
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm
• Relevant coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain.
• Registered to the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
