You will be able to play tennis to a standard appropriate for university competitive play, contributing confidently to both participation and performance settings.

In addition, you will value inclusive practice and trusted relationships, understanding how to engage and communicate effectively with participants, obtain feedback and support the safe enjoyment of tennis activities. You will be able to plan and deliver inclusive, effective sessions that meet the needs of a diverse student population, positively influencing students by leading by example and fostering a supportive club culture.

Required qualifications and commitments:

Benefits
  • Annual leave of 25 days, rising to 30 days after 1 year’s service, plus 12 bank holiday / concessionary days.
  • Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme with generous monthly contributions.
  • Access to library and digital services.
  • Excellent sports and fitness facilities with subsidised membership.
  • Free family access to independent specialist wellbeing support provider, Health Assured.
