Cardiff, Wales – September Start – Competitive Daily Rates – Aspire People is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Health & Social Care Teacher to work in a Secondary school in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver Health & Social Care or related vocational qualifications at Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5.

As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and meaningful lessons that support pupils in developing academic understanding and sector‑specific knowledge. Responsibilities may include:

• Delivering Health & Social Care lessons at KS4 and/or KS5
• Teaching BTEC, CACHE or equivalent vocational qualifications
• Supporting pupils with coursework and portfolio‑based assessments
• Planning engaging lessons linked to real‑world Health & Social Care contexts
• Monitoring progress and supporting pupils to meet qualification criteria
• Working collaboratively with departmental staff and senior leaders

• Experience teaching Health & Social Care in a Secondary school or FE setting
• QTS or a relevant teaching qualification (or strong sector experience)
• Experience delivering vocational or coursework‑based qualifications
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A positive, professional and learner‑focused approach
