Cardiff Council is seeking an exceptional and values-driven leader to become Headteacher of TEAM@Severn and associated services. This is our community-based EOTAS provision supporting vulnerable and disengaged learners.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership, delivering measurable improvements in attendance, engagement and learner outcomes in line with the Inclusion Strategy and Estyn expectations.
About the jobThe successful candidate will be required to:
- Lead high-quality, inclusive teaching and Curriculum for Wales delivery
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Improve attendance, engagement and post-16 outcomes
- Lead multi-agency partnerships
- Drive data-led improvement and inspection readiness
- Manage staff, resources and multi-site provision
Start date subject to availability of successful candidate.

- An NPQH and senior leadership experience
- A strong expertise in EOTAS, inclusion and safeguarding

Salary Range: £80,080 - £92,754 per annum (L18 - L24) (Leadership Group
5)
This post is full-time and permanent.
This post has a requirement for registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
Appointment to this post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a Child and Adult Workforce Barred List check.
