Teacher Active is proud to be working with a large mainstream primary school in Cardiff that is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. The school encourages curiosity, creativity and confidence from an early age, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

The school is looking to appoint a part-time Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from September. Working mornings only, the successful Learning Support Assistant will support children aged 3 and 4 within the Early Years provision, assisting with learning activities, encouraging positive development and helping to create a safe, engaging classroom environment. The role will also include providing personal care where required, so applicants must be comfortable supporting pupils with their individual care needs in a respectful and dignified manner.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

Experience working with children within an Early Years setting

Experience supporting children aged 3 and 4

A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

Experience providing personal care, or a willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A proactive and adaptable attitude
