Are you passionate about supporting children and making a real difference in the classroom?

We are recruiting caring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis within welcoming and supportive Primary Schools in Cardiff, including Specialist Resource Base (SNRB) settings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in education or continue developing their school-based career while making a positive impact on pupils' learning and wellbeing.

We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, youth workers, support workers, childcare professionals, and anyone with relevant experience supporting children or young people.

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning needs
• Support engagement, confidence, and emotional development
• Work alongside teachers to deliver personalised learning support
• Assist with classroom activities and targeted interventions
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs

• Experience supporting children or young people is essential (school, childcare, coaching, youth work, volunteering or similar)
• Experience supporting ALN/SEN/SNRB pupils desirable but not essential
• Positive, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
