Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEN Schools
Cardiff & Surrounding Areas. Full-time & Part-time opportunities available. Daily rate £92.63 per day. Teaching Personnel recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Psychology graduates to work as Teaching Assistants within Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
The Role- Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and learning difficulties.
- Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to deliver tailored support.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to help them achieve their educational and personal goals.
- Support both classroom-based learning and wider school activities.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience, patience and a proactive attitude.
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
- Competitive daily rate of £92.63 per day.

Roles are available across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. Due to the locations of some schools, access to your own transport is preferred.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
