Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Learning Resource Centre)

We are seeking to appoint a caring, motivated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our Learning Resource Centre (LRC) team.

Grade 6 - £28,142 for 29 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £18,707.07 pro rata

The successful candidate will have experience of working with pupils and be confident in leading group work and learning activities. They will be willing to plan, deliver and assess purposeful learning sessions that support pupils' individual needs and help them make progress.

Working alongside the LRC Lead Teacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing and engagement. They will also lead the class on occasions to ensure continuity of learning and support the work of the LRC Lead Teacher.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with children in a school setting.
• Can plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning activities.
• Is confident leading small groups and whole-class learning when required.
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Is patient, resilient and adaptable.
• Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Works well as part of a team and uses their own initiative.
• Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
