Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra invites applicants to its YOUNG ASSOCIATES programme, an eight-month paid training for 18–30 year-olds based in the South West. It offers hands-on mentorship and a career springboard to develop skills and join a growing network of emerging music leaders, with no prior music leading experience required.
The bursary totals £8,800 (£1,100 monthly) and requires a minimum 10 days per month from November 2026 to June 2027, with travel across the South West.
