We are looking for a Health & Social Care Assessor who demonstrates genuine respect for every learner, communicates with openness and integrity, and brings creativity to engage learners who may have faced barriers to education. You will be motivated to inspire and empower learners to progress, while maintaining clarity in your planning, decision-making and communication.

You’ll work directly with learners in their workplaces, online and in training sessions, supporting them through their apprenticeship journey from start to achievement.
You will:- Deliver engaging training, coaching and assessment up to Level 5
- Support learners to build confidence, skills and professional behaviours
- Plan and review Individual Learning Plans to track progress and success
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to keep learners motivated
- Build strong relationships with both learners and employers
- Manage your own caseload, diary and learner documentation
- Ensure all assessment and learning activity is accurately recorded and compliant
- Use digital tools and systems to enhance learning and track progress
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain quality and consistency
This is a field-based role across South Wales
, meaning you’ll regularly visit learners in their workplace and bring learning to life in real-world settings.
