We are looking for passionate and experienced Teachers with a proven track record of success in teaching students. Our tutors support children on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis. We work in family homes, local schools, community venues and online. In 2024 we won National Tutoring Business of the Year with the Tutors Association.

We have both daytime and after school tuition available. Tutors can work as little as 1 hour per week up to full time. We work closely with our tutors to ensure the hours suit them.

Many of the children we work with have SEND needs and so experience in this area is desirable. We work closely with Hertfordshire County Council SEND team to provide tuition packages for children with EHCPs, on EOTAS packages, children awaiting specialist provision and those who have been permanently excluded.

We also support children who have Emotional Based School Avoidance and those who are medically unwell.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver tuition
  • Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individual needs
  • Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these
  • Monitoring student progress and producing session reports
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
You should have one of the following:
  • Qualified Teacher Status, obtained in the UK
  • 5 years tutoring experience in the UK
  • 5 years teaching experience within a UK school
In addition to this the following are desirable:
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs students is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to be self employed in the UK
