The Role
Immediate start available
Full-time, long-term opportunity in a welcoming Cardiff secondary school
Competitive rate of pay - 16.11 per hour
Prepare, organise, and maintain art materials, tools, and equipment for lessons
Support teachers with practical classroom activities and demonstrations
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised Art department environment
Assist with mounting, displaying, and storing pupils' artwork
Monitor stock levels and order materials when required
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed within workshops and classrooms
Support the preparation of exhibitions, displays, and school events
Carry out basic maintenance of specialist art equipment and resources

Requirements
Previous experience working within a school, college, art department, or creative environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of art materials, equipment, and classroom safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is desirable or willingness to register
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
