Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within an ASD Base and mainstream school setting in the CF23 area. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional learning needs, helping them to access education and thrive both academically and socially.
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Delivering sensory activities tailored to individual needs
- Helping pupils regulate their emotions and behaviour
- Encouraging communication, social interaction, and independence
- Supporting learning activities both inside and outside the classroom
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
We are looking for individuals who have:
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience
- Childminding, nursery, care, youth work, or other experience working with children
- A relevant degree, such as Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Criminology, Health & Social Care, or similar
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional learning needs
- Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
