The RoleAre you an experienced English specialist looking to move into Further Education, or an established English Lecturer looking for your next opportunity?
- Deliver engaging GCSE and A-Level English lessons
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across different learner abilities
- Support learners preparing for examinations and assessments
- Develop learners' literacy, communication and analytical skills
- Assess learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Monitor attendance, progress and achievement
- Support learners with SEN/ALN or additional learning needs
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Promote strong literacy and communication skills across the curriculum
- Degree or Level 3+ qualification in English or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge across GCSE and A-Level English
- Experience teaching or supporting learners at GCSE and/or A-Level
- Understanding of examination requirements and assessment
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Teaching qualification desirable
- FE experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
