Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across South Wales to recruit experienced Lecturers in Childcare.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your industry knowledge and experience to support the next generation of learners, helping students develop practical skills, achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further study.
- Deliver engaging Childcare and Early Years teaching
- Support learners working towards relevant vocational qualifications
- Deliver both theoretical and practical learning activities
- Share current knowledge of early years practice and child development
- Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback
- Support learners preparing for placements and future employment
- Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement
- Support learners with SEN/ALN or behavioural needs
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or a relevant discipline
- Strong professional experience within childcare or early years
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, child development and early years practice
- Experience supporting learners, apprentices or trainees is desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Teaching/training qualification desirable
- Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
