Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across South Wales to recruit experienced Lecturers in Construction.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your industry knowledge and expertise to support the next generation of learners, helping students develop practical skills, achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further study.
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Construction programmes
- Deliver practical and theory-based sessions reflecting current industry standards
- Support learners working towards vocational construction qualifications
- Assess practical and written work and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships and further study
- Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement
- Support learners with SEN/ALN and behavioural needs
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Embed employability, English and maths skills into vocational teaching
- Level 3 qualification or higher in a relevant construction discipline
- Strong industry experience within the construction sector
- Up-to-date knowledge of construction practices and industry standards
- Experience supporting apprentices, trainees or learners is desirable
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge
- Teaching or training qualification is desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
