These settings support children and young people with a range of additional learning needs and are committed to providing safe, inclusive and nurturing environments where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally.
We are looking for an ALN Learning Support Assistant to work on a part-time, temporary basis, supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant may work with pupils with Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, SEMH / Social Emotional Mental Health, EBD / Emotional Behavioural Difficulties or ADD / Attention Deficit Disorder.
Thesuccessful ALN Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working within ALN settings or supporting children with additional learning needs
- Experience supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD or challenging behaviours
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- A caring and nurturing personality
- A proactive, adaptable and flexible approach
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
- CPD Courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
