As a Casual Learning Support Assistant within our Adult Learning Centres, you will play a vital role in supporting learners on their learning journey. This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners overcome barriers, develop confidence and skills, and achieve success in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
As a provider of a diverse range of adult learning programmes across the East Riding, we are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals who can inspire, motivate and engage learners from a variety of backgrounds.
About the Role
Our Learning Support Assistants work closely with learners and tutors to provide tailored support that meets individual learning needs. Support may be delivered on a one-to-one basis or within group settings and will be agreed collaboratively with learners and tutors to ensure positive outcomes.
You will help create an inclusive learning environment where all learners are encouraged and supported to participate fully and achieve their personal goals. All support activities are delivered in line with recognised internal and external quality standards.

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking individuals who:

- Understand and can apply effective coaching and mentoring approaches.
- Hold English and Maths qualifications at Level 2 or above.

- Possess strong organisational and administrative skills to complete required documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Are approachable, adaptable and able to work collaboratively with learners and colleagues.
