Additional qualification uplift (subject to proof of qualification):

  • Qualified in a digital subject to Level 4+ or equivalent: +£1,000 per annum
  • Qualified in a digital subject to Level 7+ or equivalent: +£2,000 per annum

(Salary uplift is dependent on receipt and verification of qualification certificates.)

What you’ll do:
  • Manage a caseload of learners, ensuring all key milestones are met, including initial contact with learners and employers, completion of induction and Individual Learning Plans within 28 days, and regular monthly progress reviews.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred training and assessment using a range of digital methods.
  • Mark and provide feedback on learner work within agreed turnaround times, normally within two weeks.
  • Monitor learner progress closely, setting clear and realistic targets and taking appropriate action where learners fall behind.
  • Build strong working relationships with employers, ensuring they are actively involved in reviews and learner progress.
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality learning experience aligned to awarding body, Welsh Government and ACT requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including One File and Vision, to reflect learner progress and compliance.
  • Identify additional learning needs and put appropriate support in place.
  • Support learners to develop their literacy, numeracy, ICT, digital and employability skills, alongside wider areas including sustainability, global citizenship, Equality and Diversity, Welsh Language and Culture, and Well-being.
  • Support learners to plan, deliver, evaluate and reflect on substantial workplace-based digital projects.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, learning design and continuous improvement of delivery.

  • You will demonstrate:
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple learners, deadlines and priorities.
    • Experience delivering training, coaching or assessment in a digital or IT-related area.
    • Strong occupational experience within a digital or IT environment.
    • Confidence using digital systems and managing learner data accurately.
    • Experience supporting or delivering digital projects from planning and design through to delivery, evaluation and reflection.
    • Knowledge of accessibility, inclusive digital design, data protection, copyright, intellectual property and the ethical use of digital technologies.
    • Experience supporting learners to apply Level 4 knowledge and skills to substantial workplace projects.
    • A proactive approach to tracking progress and resolving issues early.
    • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with learners, employers and colleagues.
