Gas Tutor​/Assessor

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based gas training to adult learners, typically in groups of 8-12.
• Deliver training across relevant domestic gas systems, appliances, controls and safe working practices.
• Support learners in developing the practical skills, technical knowledge and confidence required to work safely and competently within the gas industry.
• Prepare learners for practical assessments and relevant industry qualifications.
• Demonstrate industry-standard working practices and ensure learners understand current gas safety requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback, coaching and additional support where required.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate training and assessment records.
• Maintain a safe, professional and supportive learning environment.
• Support delivery at our Bristol training centre when required.
• Are you a fully qualified Gas Engineer with current ACS certifications and at least two years of post-qualification experience?, Fully qualified Gas Engineer.
• Current relevant ACS qualifications.
• At least two years of post-certification industry experience.
• Strong practical experience working within the domestic gas industry.
• Excellent technical knowledge and a strong commitment to gas safety and industry standards.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to explain technical subjects clearly.
• A genuine interest in developing, mentoring and supporting learners.
• Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience would be advantageous but not essential, as training and support can be provided.
• A recognised assessor qualification, such as TAQA, A1 or equivalent, would also be desirable
• Salary of between £35,000-£48,000, depending on experience.
