Y1 & 2 Teaching Assistant

• Supporting teaching and learning within Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms.
• Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where required.
• Assisting in the delivery of creative, play‑based learning activities.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils build confidence and independence.
• Working closely with class teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• Previous experience working with primary‑aged children.
• A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Confidence supporting children with a range of learning needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for helping children thrive both academically and socially.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
